1. When is the best time to schedule my newborn session?
I recommend booking your session within the first 5-21 days after baby’s arrival, when they’re sweetly sleepy and the snugly poses come naturally.
2. How long does a newborn studio session usually last?
Typically, sessions last 1-2 hours — baby’s comfort comes first, so we take all the time needed for feeding, soothing, and capturing those precious moments.
3. What should I bring to the studio?
I suggest bringing diapers, wipes, a pacifier (if your baby uses one), and formula if bottle fed. Don’t worry — I provide cozy wraps, props, and soft blankets in the studio!
4. Will you photograph siblings or parents too?
Absolutely! Including siblings and parents creates beautiful family memories. Just let me know beforehand so we can plan the timing.
5. How do you keep baby comfortable and safe during the shoot?
Baby’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I use gentle posing techniques, warm room temperatures, and have years of experience.
6. Can I choose colors or themes for the session?
Yes! I love customizing sessions with colors, props, and styles that reflect your family’s personality and preferences.
7. How should I prepare baby before the shoot?
A warm bath and a feeding shortly before the session usually help baby relax and feel sleepy for those peaceful poses.
8. What if baby isn’t cooperating or gets fussy?
No worries at all — newborns are little humans with their own moods! I’m patient and gentle, and we take breaks as needed to soothe baby and capture those perfect moments.
9. When will I receive my photos?
You will receive a proofing gallery within a week of your session. You have a few days to make favourite selections and then it takes me a few more days for final editing of your images. Total process is usually within 2 weeks from session to delivery.
10. How many images can I expect?
You will receive a proofing gallery and can select as many images as you would like to purchase.
11. Do you provide print products or albums?
Yes! I offer a variety of high-quality prints, canvases, and custom albums designed to showcase your baby’s first portraits beautifully.
12. What if we need to reschedule because baby arrives early or late?
I completely understand! Just keep me updated, and we’ll find the best time to capture your newborn’s magic when the time is right.
13. Can dad or other family members be involved during the session?
I do limit family sessions to mom dad, siblings and baby.
14. Is the studio equipped for feeding?
Yes, the studio has a comfortable space for feeding, so you and baby can feel relaxed throughout the session.
15. How do I book a newborn session?
